Vintage cast iron doorstop in the form of a standing ram, with curled horns, a nicely detailed fleece and a scalloped base. Finished in gold paint with small chips and wear. Solid and heavy, with a hollow back and a small hole in the base. No maker’s mark that I can find.

A good solid doorstop that also looks great on a shelf, mantel or desk as a decorative piece.
