Description

Genuine antique French cast iron sad iron (flat iron), "GENDARME" model No. 4. Features a beautifully embossed royal crown and laurel leaf wreath medallion on the upper face. Solid sand-cast iron construction with a gorgeous dark, age-appropriate vintage patina. A fantastic decorative statement piece, rustic farmhouse accent, or heavy desk bookend.
