Featured project at our Heartfelt & Handmade Retreat held in 2024.

Our model is stitched with one strand of floss over two threads of 36ct Fox & Rabbit Saltbush Linen. (Baked Clay or Hogbristle are great options as well.)

An 8” x 16” piece of linen is more than adequate for the pocket.

Stitched areas: The “tree” side of the pocket measures approximately 4”W x 3.5”H. The “house” side measures 4”W x 6.5”H. Arrange stitching vertically on linen (as shown on cross stitch chart) so that each stitched area has a margin of 1” or more on each side.

You will also need a piece of silk measuring at least 6”W x 12”H for finishing your watch pocket.
